The Samsara Deception

This new track is about the Samsara, in Buddhism this is the seemingly endless cycle of birth, life of suffering and death until one can reach Nirvana.

Our emotional attachments and desires keep us trapped in the Samsara, causing us to suffer to various degrees.
These elements have also been referred to as the Veil of Maya, or veil of illusion, as all the things we cling to form the illusion of the reality of the Samsara.
But I didn't want that as the title because of A) the song by Cynic and B) the djent band.

I'm no scholar but this is what i understand of it so far.

The track is built on a very repetitive, mechanical bass line and beat, which represent the endless cycle of the Samsara, whereas all the other elements coming in and out of the mix are all the fleeting, ephemeral moments we try to cling to.

The track started life in 2018 and was almost complete very early on. I had the main bass line, the beat and the melody laid down after only a few sessions.
I came back to it very briefly last year to try and make it more varied and less monotonous, and things finally clicked a few days before release!
